Gabe Young
Gabe spent the last 30 years as a corporate officer and entrepreneur.
Serving as an executive for life science and tech enterprises, Gabe had the opportunity to lead organizations to achieve triple digit growth. He is recognized as a forward-thinking project management expert and modern marketing guru, which allowed him to spearhead a number of consulting companies through mergers and acquisitions.
He has served the project and portfolio management community as a professor, a speaker, and a lifelong practitioner.
One company he founded was, Open World Events, where he produced massive family events that attracted 250,000 attendees annually. These live experiences include the #1 LEGO production in the US, the #1 ticketed STEM event in the US, #1 family comic con in the US, and the only official Minecraft event in the world.
In addition, Gabe is an experienced commercial real estate investor, which includes providing corporate housing for Fortune 500 executives.
Gabe earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Logistics from Penn State University and his MBA from Saint Joseph’s University. Additionally, he is a Project Management Professional, a Six Sigma Black Belt, a Microsoft Certified Trainer, and a 7-time Guinness World Record holder.
Aside from helping businesses grow and coaching his kids’ sports teams, Gabe enjoys serving as a member of for-profit and nonprofit boards, including Penn State’s Outreach and Online Education Advisory Board since 2012.
